Griffin « La machine de Lachine » Schwartz (surnom donné par l’annonceur du Tour of the Battenkill en 2013), première année cadet et coureur indépendant,  veut un jour devenir pro et courir les grandes courses comme Le Tour de France et la Ronde Van Vlaanderen. Griffin cour comme indépendant parce qu’il peut faire chaque course aussi dur et fort qu’il peut. En plus, il n’a pas besoin de se sacrifier pour la course d’un autre, ni demander à d’autres de se sacrifier pour lui. Griffin ne s’arrête pas trop sur ses rivaux; il prend chaque départ confiant et prêt à faire de son mieux et essayer de gagner quelconque la compétition.

Griffin « The Machine from Lachine » Schwartz (nickname given to him by Alan Cote, announcer at the Tour of the Battenkill in 2013), is a first year cadet and independent racer who hopes to be a pro cyclist one day, racing in such races as the Tour de France and the Ronde Van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders). Griffin races as an independent because that way he can do every race as hard and strong as he can. In addition, this way Griffin doesn’t have to sacrifice his race to anyone else, nor does anyone have to sacrifice a race for him. Griffin doesn’t focus on his rivals, he lines up at the start confident and ready to do his best and try to win regardless of the competition.
